Chicken cutlet is a very easy to make dish. One advantage of this is you can prepare the keema (cutlets before frying) & store it in your freezer for 1 month. It comes to your rescue when you have a surprise guest for lunch or dinner. It can be also served as an evening snack.
- Boneless chicken – 1/2 kg
- Onion – 1 big
Chopped ginger – 1 tablespoon
Chopped green chilli – 2-3 - Potato – 1 boiled & mashed
- Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1 teaspoon - Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Egg white -1-2 - Curry leaves
Salt - Oil – for frying
Cook & mince the chicken. Saute onion till it becomes soft.Add chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.Add minced chicken. Mix well. Add salt, pepper powder & garam masala. Stir for 5 minutes & remove from gas.Allow the mixyure to cool. Once it is cooled add mash potatoes & mix well.Make small balls with the mixyure & roll into desired shapes. Beat the egg white. Dip each cutlet in egg white & roll with bread crumbs. Deep fry in oil. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
