Thanks Sabitha :) I’ve seen Nirapara brand payasam rice here, its red color but dont know whether its same as the one you are referring to, anyways thanks for the info, I will check that rice during my next trip to Kerala :)

payasam is really yummy…I really loved it…

One simple note which i got from my mom…for pal payasam the rice used is a special red rice called ‘unkkal ari’…..I think this is available only in kerala….
