I thought I will start blogging this year by quickly taking a peek into last year. Blogging wise, 2009 was a good year for me. I celebrated 3 years of blogging and became a lot more active with this space. I started getting more feedback/comments from you, which is a great motivation for me :). Mariasmenu’s reader base increased to new heights and above all I got some very good friends through my blog.
My very first magazine interview was published last year and also I won first place in a recipe competition for kids conducted by Mummy’s Yummies in December. My veg omelette recipe got me the first award. I was very happy mainly because it was a competition aimed at finding healthy & tasty recipes for kids, who are the most fussiest eaters ;). Thank you Heba. So, all in all, we had a good time at MariasMenu. I know it happened only because of you, so a big THANK YOU from us :)
I posted 45 recipes last year including a post by the biggest patron of MariasMenu, my dearest husband Jose :).
One more thing, last year we started a new category called Reader’s choice. This particular section has the photos of the recipes from MariasMenu, which were successfully tried by some of you. Please have a look at it and hey don’t forget to send in more pictures, we are happy to post them :)
