      Hi saranya

You can try this with other fish also. I think it will be good with flesh fish. Hope you’ll like it.

Please let me know your feedback if you try it.

Shall I add tomato with onion?

    • http://www.mariasmenu.com Maria

      Hi Sulochana,

I havent tried this recipe with tomato. Kudampuli (cocum) is the souring agent in this recipe. If you want you can try with tomato.

I think its best to add tomato with ground paste.

      Hope you’ll like this dish.

      Regards
      Maria

I loved the look of this one in your pic and so tried it couple of days back. I messed up by putting chilli powder and regretted it the moment I tasted it. But I guess, we are too hard on ourselves when we make it- My hubby loved it. So thank you..:)

And I made the prawns fry too and that was the best prawns we ever made…Looking forward to try your other recipes. Im sad I reached here late..But its okay..Better late than never right

      Hi Avrilvids,

Thanks a lot for trying the recipes :)

Ok, you can try adding cornflour to thicken the gravy. Mix 1-2 tbsp of cornflour in 1/4 cup of water & add it to teh curry towards the end & cook for another 5 mins. Or you can try adding cashew paste. Soak around 7-10 cashews in 2 tbsp hot water for 10 mins or so. Grind it to a smooth paste.Adding cashew paste brings more taste & creaminess to the gravy.

      Hope this works…

      Cheers
