Hi Maria – we have never tried using Kodampuli with prawns or in any fish masala. A novel preparation. Looks great too. Will give it a try and let u know the result. Cheers!

      Hi Maria,

      Nice Mouthwatering recipe….

My probs with Prawns is that it is getting harded when finally done and also the Masala is not getting into prawns….Some adviced me not to overcook prawns…..I tried that….but not effective
DO you have any tips for me ?

      Hi Maria,

I follow your site regularly, but this is my first time commenting.  First of all thank you for this wonderful website. Today I made the prawn masala and I loved it! I made two changes-I did not have kodampulli. So I used one tomato and a wee bit of tamarind pulp. It came out well. Also I wanted a little bit of gravy, so I did not let the curry dry out completely. Thank you once again. I will try and post a picture on facebook.

      Take care,
      Anu
