- KingFish (Nemeen)- 1kg
- Coconut oil – accordingly
- Small onion – 5
- Garlic – 1 pode
- Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek – a pinch - Ginger – 1 piece
- Chilli powder – 3 tablespoon
Coriander powder – 2 tablespoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon - Scraped coconut – 1 cup
- Cocum – 4 pieces Salt – to taste
Heat oil in a pan & splutter mustard seeds & fenugreek. Saute Ground ginger & garlic. Add curry leaves also. Make a paste with chilli, coriander & turmeric powder & add it.Grind the coconut with 3,4 small onion & little water.Add ground coconut when oil starts appearing. Mix well & stir for 3-4 minutes.Add cocum,salt& fish. Pour required water & cook. Once the fish is done add oil & take off from gas. Garnish with curry leaves.
