just finished eating this Parippu chaaru…it came out realllllly well…thank you for posting….
My hubby is a malayali and he totally flipped for this one . the only thing missing was pappadum…next time will make it… thank you again….:)

Thank you for getting back to me. I served it to some northie friends who are usually dal maniacs, and they loved it. Also i tried you nadan mutton curry. It was finger licking, plate licking and even kadai-licking tasty. Did not waste even a drop of it. I did not have to wash the kadai at the end. ;).

Hi Maria,
I was looking for parippu curry recipe for onam and came across ur blog. It looks wonderful.
A quick question please… The moong dal u used here , is it split moong dal or the green color whole moong dal?
